| Authorizing the remaining funds appropriated in fiscal year 2005-06 to the Department of Corrections pursuant to PL 2005, Chapter 386, Part J to be carried forward as nonlapsing will enable the Corrections Alternatives Advisory Committee to continue its work utilizing existing budgeted resources. Based on projections as of 2/17/06, the Department of Corrections estimates that $32,500 in unencumbered funds will lapse back to the General Fund without passage of this bill. | |||||||||
