The
Maine Criminal Justice Academy program within the Department of Public Safety
will require a one-time General Fund appropriation of $30,000 in fiscal year
2006-07 to develop an electronic training module necessary for law
enforcement training pertaining to people with autism and developmental
disabilities. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The
additional costs associated with the continuing legal education requirement
for prosecutors can be absorbed by the Department of the Attorney General
utilizing existing budgeted resources. |
