Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Maine Forest Service within the Department of Conservation will require a one-time General Fund appropriation in the amount of $10,000 in fiscal year 2005-06 for the costs of informing certain landowners of changes in the Maine Tree Growth Tax Laws.  This bill may also reduce General Fund expenditures in the Tree Growth Reimbursement program by an undetermined amount.
