Requiring
all records of the court involving criminal proceedings to be available in
electronic format by July 1, 2006 will result in additional startup costs of
approximately $2-5 million to obtain the necessary hardware and complete the
required computer programming. It is
also estimated that the Judicial Department will need six additional
positions on an on-going basis to monitor the input and output of data. |
