Beginning in fiscal year 2005-06, the Land Use Regulation Commission within the Department of Conservation will require a General Fund appropriation of $51,300 for the costs of mailing required notices. 
The Department of Environmental Protection will also incur additional costs associated with copying, mailing and staff time required to comply with the proposed notification requirements.  It is unclear whether the notice requirements apply to all the department's permits/licenses including permit by rule, renewals, transfers, amendments, and modifications.  When this is determined the additional cost to the Department of Environmental Protection will be added to the costs above.
