The
cost to the Office of Tourism within the Department of Economic and Community
Development to design and create 100,000 maps, based on experience with other
maps, is between $75,000 and $100,000.
The Office of Tourism receives 5% of the meals and lodging tax as its
primary source of revenue for the support of its operations and receives no
General Fund appropriations. The
ability of the Office to absorb the cost of creating the maps without
impacting other services or programs can not be determined at this time. |
