| This bill may reduce General Fund revenue during the 2006-2007 biennium as a result of the income tax credit for certain parents. The amount can not be determined at this time and will depend in part on the amount of the property tax credit. This bill may also reduce the amount of General Fund appropriations needed for General Purpose Aid for Local schools program beginning in fiscal year 2005-06. In addition, this legislation may reduce the amount of state subsidy received by the sending school. The impact to the State and to local units can not be determined at this time and will depend on the number of students who currently attend an overcrowded school and whose parents or legal guardians opt to send them to another public or private school outside of the municipality in which they are a resident. | |||||||||
