Requiring
the Department of Transportation to use certain composite manufactured
materials in road and bridge construction projects is likely to increase
Highway Fund costs; the amount of increase will depend on the portions of
composite manufactured materials used and can not be determined at this
time. The Department of
Transportation estimates that if the portion of composite manufactured
materials is established at 25%, annual Highway Fund costs would then increase
by $1,500,000. |
