| This legislation raises the salary range for 6 positions at the Public Utilities Commission. This change will result in additional costs to the Public Utilities Commission in the amount of $19,493 in fiscal year 2005-06 and $54,698 in fiscal year 2006-07. The Public Utilities Commission is seeking authorization to fund this increase in their main account (014-65A-0184-01) through permanent salary savings generated through certain vacant positions. The increased need in the Conservation - Administration account (014-65A-0966-01) must be provided through a new allocation, since no vacancies currently exist in this account. | |||||||||
