Requiring the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources to conduct an expanded food testing program will necessitate additional General Fund appropriations of $151,970 and $78,967 in fiscal years 2005-06 and 2006-07, respectively, for the costs of an additional Microbiologist II position, operating expenses and laboratory construction and equipment.
