	The Secretary of State's budget includes sufficient funds to accommodate one ballot of average length for the general election in November. If the number or size of the referendum questions increases the ballot length, an additional appropriation of $8,000 or more may be required.  A special election would require an additional appropriation of $121,392.
Fiscal Detail and Notes
	Through the establishment of the Reimbursement of Rescue Services Fund, this amendment allows the Department of Public Safety to collect dedicated revenues to reimburse certain communities for certain rescue services, thereby eliminating the General Fund costs of the bill.  The department has existing Other Special Revenue Funds allocations which will allow spending from the newly created fund.  The amount of expenditures will depend on the department's success in soliciting funds and can not be determined at this time.
