The Secretary of
State's budget includes sufficient funds to accommodate one ballot of average
length for the general election in November. If the number or size of the
referendum questions increases the ballot length, an additional appropriation
of $8,000 or more may be required. A
special election would require an additional appropriation of $121,392. |

Requiring
that certain ethics courses must be conducted within 100 miles of the
residence of the individual required to take the course will increase
operational expenses of the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. Beginning in fiscal year 2005-06, the
department will require additional Other Special Revenue Funds allocations of
$5,000. In addition, beginning in
fiscal year 2005-06, changing the requirements as to whom is required to take
ethics courses will result in a decrease of $6,500 in Other Special Revenue
Funds revenue collected by the department. |
