The requirement that all employees of school administrative units be paid a liveable wage rate is a mandate.  The cost to each individual unit can not be determined at this time and will depend on the number of employees whose current pay rate is below the liveable wage rate. School Significant

The impact to the General Purpose Aid for Local Schools program within the Department of Education can not be determined at this time and will depend on the impact that incorporating the liveable wage rate at the local level has on the salary component of the Essential Programs and Services model.
