The
change in the sales tax exemption for certain prosthetic devices will result
in a General Fund revenue loss beginning in fiscal year 2005-06. The amount can not be determined at this
time. Maine Revenue Services will
also require a one-time General Fund appropriation of $22,000 in fiscal year
2005-06 for the additional printing and mailing costs associated with the
change in this exemption. |
