Authorizing
a joint standing committee to report out a bill subject to the mandate review
and further stipulate that the bill may not be enacted until the mandate
review procedure has been completed could restrict the ability of the
Legislature to conduct its work. The
exact financial impact of this restriction can not be determined at this
time. The Department of Health and
Human Services will require additional resources to perform the mandate
reviews required in this bill. |
