| Sec. 1. State Liquor and Lottery Commission directed to adopt rules to require |
| publication of odds of winning state lottery. Resolved: That the State Liquor |
| and Lottery Commission shall adopt routine technical rules |
| pursuant to the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter 375, |
| subchapter 2-A that require the publication of the odds of |
| winning the highest possible prize in a lottery game in all |
| advertising and marketing for that lottery game. These odds must |
| appear in printed advertisements in easily readable fonts of at |
| least 14-point type and be announced on radio and television |
| advertisements. These odds must be preceded by the phrase, |
| "Please play responsibly," followed by the odds of winning the |
| highest available prize for that particular game. |
