Sec. 1. 8 MRSA §1031-A is enacted to read:

§1031-A.__Daily loss limit

A slot machine operator shall establish a daily loss limit of $300 per person per 24-hour period.__The operator shall install devices in slot machines and employ other monitoring methods to monitor each player's wagering on slot machines in order to comply with this section.

Sec. 2. 17 MRSA §341, sub-§5-A is enacted to read:

5-A.__Daily loss limit.__A person authorized to operate slot machines or other mechanical devices used for playing games of chance under this chapter or Title 8, chapter 31 shall establish a daily loss limit of $300 per person per 24-hour period.

SUMMARY
