| | | Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §2610 is enacted to read: |

| | | A person who bottles fewer than 100,000 gallons of water a | | year is exempt from the provisions of this chapter. |
|
| | | Sec. 2. 32 MRSA §1753 is enacted to read: |
|
| | | A person who bottles fewer than 100,000 gallons of water a | | year is exempt from the provisions of this chapter.__This section | | does not apply to the bottling of a beverage other than water by | | a person exempted under this section. |
|
| | | This bill exempts water bottling operations that bottle under | | 100,000 gallons of water a year from the laws governing bottlers | | of nonalcoholic beverages and water for human consumption. |
