Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 30-A MRSA §3811, sub-§2 is enacted to read:

 
2.__Lodging less than one month.__A person who makes available
for rental a room, apartment, condominium, cottage or house for
less than one month must obtain a license under this subchapter.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill requires a person who makes available for rental a
room, apartment, condominium, cottage or house for less than one
month to obtain a license from the municipal authorities.
