| Sec. 1. Clarification of rule governing retirees returning to employment after |
| retirement with same employer. The Maine State Retirement System shall |
| amend Chapter 410 of its rules entitled "Retirees Returning to |
| Employment After Retirement With the Same Employer" to make |
| explicit the fact that a participant in the Maine State |
| Retirement System who has reached normal retirement age may |
| retire and begin receiving state retirement benefits and then may |
| return to employment with the same employer while receiving those |
| benefits. Rules adopted pursuant to this section are routine |
| technical rules as defined in the Maine Revised Statutes, Title |
| 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A. |
