| | | Sec. 1. 25 MRSA §2013 is enacted to read: |

| | | §2013.__Waiting period for certain firearms sales |

| | | A person may not sell or transfer a firearm without a 10-day | | waiting period to any person who has not attained 22 years of | | age.__For the purpose of this section, "firearm" has the same | | meaning as in Title 17-A, section 2, subsection 12-A. |

| | | This bill requires a 10-day waiting period before a firearm | | may be sold or transferred to any person who has not attained 22 | | years of age. |
