The
change to a one-acre disturbance threshold under the State Storm water
permitting laws will result in an increase in annual dedicated revenues to
the Maine Environmental Protection Fund of approximately $5,000 per year. This estimate is based on 50 additional
applications at $100 per application.
The additional administrative costs associated with handling 50
additional permit applications can be absorbed by the Department of
Environmental Protection utilizing existing budgeted resources. |
