This bill abolishes the State Planning Office effective July 15, 2005.  Since the Department of Economic and Community Development is required to present its proposal to reallocate essential functions to other state agencies to the Joint Standing Committee on Business, Research and Economic Development no later than December 10, 2003, the specific savings are unknown at this time.
