The
Board of Registration of Professional Engineers, which is affiliated with the
Department of Professional and Financial Regulation, will require an Other
Special Revenue Fund allocation of $18,000 in fiscal year 2003-04 for the
costs associated with establishing a continuing professional education
requirement. These costs include
revising board rules, developing and printing of new renewal forms, and
mailing the details of the new requirements to registrants. Establishing this new requirement may also
result in a loss of dedicated revenue to the board in future bienniums as a
result of a reduced number of renewals.
The amount can not be determined at this time. |
