Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
The
resolve requires the Bureau of Insurance to review and analyze existing
health insurance coverage and offering mandates. The fiscal note assumes
reviews will be completed by an external contractor on an expedited basis for
a January 15, 2004 report. Existing
mandates and offers will be categorized into 16 mandate topics and analyzed
at a cost of $15,000 per report, the maximum cost per report paid to the
current vendor who completes proposed mandate benefit bill reviews. Costs would be one-time. |
