General
Fund appropriations of approximately $1000 per fiscal year to the Department
of Audit will be required to provide a hotline for the reporting of fraud,
waste and abuse of state and local government funds and property. It is anticipated that many of these calls
can be handled by current staff at the Department of Audit. However, other
more complex related calls may require further investigation and the exact
impact on the Department of Audit staff can not be determined at this time. |
