(2) Documentation of unauthorized trails or extensive damage to private and public property;

(3) Documentation of ATV use in prohibited areas as defined in state law; and

(4) Documentation of multiple law enforcement agency involvement; and

B.__May award a grant whether or not matching funds are available.

3. Equipment and training.__For grants for equipment and training for law enforcement officers, the grant committee:

A. Shall consider the following information relevant to the grant proposal:

(1)__Documentation of ATV use on trails and private property;

(2)__Documentation of law enforcement staff needing equipment and training; and

(3) Documentation of inability to obtain equipment from other sources, specific scheduled training events and any training sponsorship; and

B. May not award a grant unless matching funds are available in an amount that is no less than 50% of the grant amount.

§10326.__Rules

The grant committee may adopt rules necessary for the conduct of its business under this subchapter.__The grant committee shall adopt by rule a schedule for submission of and action on grant proposals.__Rules adopted pursuant to this__subchapter are routine technical rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A.
