waters. Whenever the name of a fish, such as "bass" or "trout," is
used, it means the named fish or any of its physical parts.

 
Sec. B-6. 12 MRSA §10001, sub-§27, as enacted by PL 2003, c. 414, Pt.
A, §2 and affected by Pt. D, §7, is amended to read:

 
27. Fly-fishing. "Fly-fishing" means casting upon water and
retrieving in a manner in which the weight of the fly line
propels the fly. No more than 3 unbaited artificial flies
individually attached to a line may be used.

 
Sec. B-7. 12 MRSA §10001, sub-§42, as enacted by PL 2003, c. 414, Pt.
A, §2 and affected by Pt. D, §7, is repealed and the following
enacted in its place:

 
42.__Muzzle-loading firearm.__"Muzzle-loading firearm" means a
muzzleloader, a traditional muzzleloader or a muzzle-loading
shotgun.

 
Sec. B-8. 12 MRSA §10001, sub-§§42-A and 42-B are enacted to read:

 
42-A.__Muzzleloader.__"Muzzleloader" means a firearm that:

 
A.__Is capable of being loaded only through the muzzle;

 
B.__Is ignited by a matchlock, wheel lock, flintlock or
caplock, including an in-line caplock or shotgun or rifle
primer mechanism;

 
C.__Has a rifled or smooth-bored barrel or barrels, each
barrel capable of firing only a single charge;

 
D.__Propels a ball, bullet or charge of shot; and

 
E.__May have any type of sights, including scopes.

 
42-B.__Muzzle-loading shotgun.__"Muzzle-loading shotgun" means
a firearm that:

 
A.__Is capable of being loaded only through the muzzle;

 
B.__Is ignited by a matchlock, wheel lock, flintlock or
caplock with an exposed ignition mechanism;

 
C.__Has a smooth-bored single or double barrel, each barrel
capable of firing only a single charge;

 
D.__Is charged with black powder or black powder replica
only;
