3.__Waiver.__Notice under this Code or the sending of a document
under this Code may be waived by the person to be notified or sent
the document.

 
4.__Notice of judicial proceeding.__Notice of a judicial
proceeding must be given as provided in the applicable Maine
Rules of Civil Procedure.

 
§110.__Others treated as qualified beneficiaries

 
1.__Charitable organization or person to enforce trust.__A
charitable organization expressly designated to receive
distributions under the terms of a charitable trust or a person
appointed to enforce a trust created for the care of an animal or
another noncharitable purpose as provided in section 408 or 409
has the rights of a qualified beneficiary under this Code.

 
2.__Attorney General.__The Attorney General has the rights of
a qualified beneficiary with respect to a charitable trust having
its principal place of administration in this State.

 
§111.__Nonjudicial settlement agreements

 
1.__Interested persons defined.__For purposes of this section,
"interested persons" means persons whose consent would be
required in order to achieve a binding settlement were the
settlement to be approved by the court.

 
2.__Binding nonjudicial settlement agreement.__Except as
otherwise provided in subsection 3, interested persons may enter
into a binding nonjudicial settlement agreement with respect to
any matter involving a trust.

 
3.__Validity of nonjudicial settlement agreement.__A
nonjudicial settlement agreement is valid only to the extent it
does not violate a material purpose of the trust and includes
terms and conditions that could be properly approved by the court
under this Code or other applicable law.

 
4.__Matters of nonjudicial settlement agreement.__Matters that
may be resolved by a nonjudicial settlement agreement include:

 
A.__The interpretation or construction of the terms of the
trust;

 
B.__The approval of a trustee's report or accounting;
