Sec. R-1. 32 MRSA §1092, as amended by PL 1993, c. 600, Pt. A, §73, is repealed and the following enacted in its place:

§1092. Unlawful practice

1.__Unlawful practice.__A person may not:

A.__Practice dentistry without obtaining a license;

B.__Practice dentistry under a false or assumed name;

C.__Practice dentistry under the license of another person of the same name;

D.__Practice dentistry under the name of a corporation, company, association, parlor or trade name;

E.__While manager, proprietor, operator or conductor of a place for performing dental operations, employ a person who is not a lawful practitioner of dentistry in this State to perform dental practices as described in section 1081;

F.__While manager, proprietor, operator or conductor of a place for performing dental operations, permit a person to practice dentistry under a false name;

G.__Assume a title or append or prefix to that person's name the letters that falsely represent the person as having a degree from a dental college;

H.__Impersonate another at an examination held by the board;

I.__Knowingly make a false application or false representation in connection with an examination held by the board;

J.__Practice as a dental hygienist without having a license to do so; or

K.__Employ a person as a dental hygienist who is not licensed to practice.

2.__Penalty.__A person who violates this section commits a Class E crime.__Violation of this section is a strict liability crime as defined in Title 17-A, section 34, subsection 4-A.

Sec. R-2. 32 MRSA §1093, as amended by PL 1993, c. 600, Pt. A, §76, is repealed and the following enacted in its place:
