§12304.__Condition of animal presented for registration

A person may not present the following animals for registration unless that animal is presented in its entirety, except:

1.__Bear.__For bear, the viscera and rib cage may be removed, and the bear may be dismembered for ease of transportation, but the bear must be field dressed in a manner that permits determination of the sex of the animal;

2.__Moose.__For moose, the viscera, rib cage, lower legs, head and hide may be removed and the animal may be dismembered for ease of transportation, but evidence of gender must remain attached to at least one part of the dressed animal.__If the head is not brought to the registration station, a canine tooth or the lower jaw also must be presented at the time of registration.__ Any parts not presented for registration must be placed where they are not visible to a person traveling on a public or private way; or

3.__Wild turkey.__For wild turkey, the viscera may be removed.

§12305.__False registration of bear, deer, moose or wild turkey

1.__Prohibition.__A person may not present for registration or allow to be registered in that person's name any of the following animals that that person did not lawfully kill:

A.__Bear;

B.__Deer;

C.__Moose; or

D.__Wild turkey.

§12306.__Possessing unregistered bear, deer, moose or wild

turkey
