the presence of, and under the supervision of, an adult as
provided in subsection 2.

 
A person who violates this subsection commits a civil violation
for which a forfeiture of not less than $100 nor more than $500
may be adjudged, unless otherwise provided.

 
4.__Expiration of junior hunting license.__A junior hunting
license issued to a person who has passed that person's 15th
birthday is valid through the calendar year for which the license
is issued.__All other permit requirements for a person who is 16
years of age or older apply to a person who continues to hunt
with a junior hunting license.

 
For the purposes of this section, "in the presence of" means
in visual and voice contact without the use of visual or audio
enhancement devices, including binoculars and citizen band
radios.

 
§11109.__Licenses and fees

 
1.__License required.__Except as otherwise authorized pursuant
to this Part, a person may not engage in an activity for which a
license may be issued under this section unless that person has a
valid license issued under this section.__Each day a person
violates this subsection that person commits a Class E crime for
which a minimum fine of $50 and an amount equal to twice the
applicable license fee must be imposed.

 
2.__Hunting licenses; agent's fee.__Clerks or other agents
appointed by the commissioner to issue licenses and permits shall
charge a fee of $2 for each hunting license issued.__The
commissioner shall charge a fee of $1 for each hunting license
issued by department employees.

 
3.__Hunting licenses; combination licenses; fees.__Hunting
licenses, combination licenses and fees are as follows.

 
A.__A resident junior hunting license, for a person 10 years
of age or older and under 16 years of age, is $5.

 
B.__A resident hunting license, for a person 16 years of age
or older, is $19.

 
C.__A resident small game hunting license, for a person 16
years of age or older, which permits hunting for all legal
species except deer, bear, turkey, moose, raccoon and
bobcat, is $12.

 
D.__A resident combination hunting and fishing license is
$30.
