| | | Sec. 1. 25 MRSA §2001, sub-§7, as enacted by PL 2001, c. 459, §2, is | | repealed and the following enacted in its place: |

| | | 7.__Reciprocity.__A person who carries a concealed weapon | | who has met all the requirements in another state for carrying | | a concealed weapon in that state and, if a permit is required | | in that state, holds a valid permit from the other state. |
|
| | | This bill allows a person to carry a concealed weapon if the | | person meets all the requirements for carrying a concealed | | weapon in another state. |
