Sec. 1. 15 MRSA §801-A is enacted to read:

§801-A.__Videotaping of examination

A police department or other law enforcement agency shall videotape any examination of an individual that concerns the commission of a crime and that is conducted within a police department or other law enforcement facility.

This bill requires police departments and other law enforcement agencies to videotape examinations that concern the commission of a crime and that are conducted within police departments or other law enforcement facilities.
