This bill directs the Department of Labor to apply to the federal government for a national emergency grant to provide health insurance for eligible unemployed workers. It also requires the Department of Labor to review options for providing health insurance to other unemployed workers and to report recommendations to the Joint Standing Committee on Labor. The committee is authorized to report out legislation to the Second Regular Session of the 121st Legislature.
