Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 23 MRSA §1653, sub-§2 is repealed.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill repeals the provision of law that permits money in
the General Highway Fund to be spent for maintenance of the
State Police.
