Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
CONCEPT DRAFT
SUMMARY
This bill is a concept draft pursuant to Joint Rule 208.
This bill proposes, in the event that gambling casino
operations are allowed in this State, to require a portion of
the revenue received by the community in which a casino is
located and by the State to be allocated to the surrounding
towns to offset the impact of the casino on those surrounding
towns.
