Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 25 MRSA §1574, sub-§3, as repealed by PL 2001, c. 325, §3,
is reenacted to read:

 
3.__Juvenile offenders.__If a juvenile court adjudicates a
juvenile to have committed a juvenile crime that, if committed
by an adult, would constitute an offense listed in this
section, then the juvenile is subject to the requirements of
this section.

 
SUMMARY

 
The bill subjects a juvenile to DNA testing requirements if
the juvenile is adjudicated of committing a juvenile crime
that, if committed by an adult, would constitute an offense
listed in the DNA Data Base and Data Bank Act.
