| | | New Initiative: Provides funds for the costs of holding public | | hearings and outreach seminars throughout the State, and holding | | a statewide conference for women veterans. |

| | | This bill appropriates $15,000 to the Department of Defense, | | Veterans and Emergency Management for the Advisory Commission on | | Women Veterans to cover the costs of holding public hearings, | | conducting statewide outreach to contact women veterans to | | explain benefits available to them, holding a statewide | | conference on benefits and associated travel, mailing and | | Internet expenses. |
