Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §7463-A, sub-§8-A is enacted to read:

 
8-A.__Youth conservation education programs.__Twenty percent
of the revenue generated by the public chance drawing must be
deposited into a special nonlapsing account within the department
to fund youth conservation education programs.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill provides for a percentage of revenue from the public
chance drawing for moose hunting permits to be used to fund youth
conservation education programs.
