Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from
the General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Act.

Provides funds to pay the
United States Geological Survey
to conduct a low-flow study in

SUMMARY

 
This bill appropriates $25,000 per year for fiscal years 2001-
02 and 2002-03 to fund a low-flow study in Aroostook County to be
conducted by the United States Geological Survey.
