Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 30-A MRSA §4314, sub-§2, as repealed and replaced by PL 1993,
c. 721, Pt. A, §1 and affected by Pt. H, §1, is amended to read:

 
2. Zoning ordinances. Notwithstanding section 4352,
subsection 2, any portion of a All zoning ordinance ordinances

Sec. 2. 30-A MRSA §4314, sub-§3, as enacted by PL 1991, c. 722, §6 and
affected by §11, is repealed.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill repeals the provision of law that voids on January
1, 2003 certain municipal land use ordinances that are not
consistent with a comprehensive plan. It requires zoning
ordinances to be consistent with a comprehensive plan adopted
pursuant to the growth management laws.
