SUMMARY

Under the Maine Automobile Insurance Cancellation Control Act,
certain occurrences involving a motor vehicle are not considered
an accident for purposes of determining whether an insurer may
cancel an insured's automobile insurance policy because the
insured has been involved in motor vehicle accidents. This bill
provides that an accident involving a single car colliding with a
deer or moose is not considered an accident for purposes of the
Maine Automobile Insurance Cancellation Control Act.
