Sec. 1. Increase in reimbursement for therapy services. Resolved: That the
Department of Human Services shall adopt rules to increase the
amount of reimbursement under the Medicaid program for
occupational and physical therapy services to 50% of the usual
and customary charge. The department shall adopt these rules to
take effect January 1, 2001. Rules adopted pursuant to this
section are major substantive rules as defined in the Maine
Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter II-A.

 
SUMMARY

 
This resolve requires the Department of Human Services to
adopt rules that take effect on January 1, 2001 and that increase
the amount of reimbursement under the Medicaid program for
occupational and physical therapy services to 50% of the usual
and customary charge.
