Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from the
General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Act.

Land and Water Quality

Appropriates funds for programs
of the Joint Environmental
Training Coordinating Committee
to support wastewater treatment

This bill includes General Fund appropriations of $40,000 in
each of fiscal years 1999-00 and 2000-01 for the Department of
Environmental Protection to support wastewater treatment plant
operator training.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill appropriates $40,000 per year to the Department of
Environmental Protection, Bureau of Land and Water Quality to
support training programs for wastewater treatment plant
operators.
