| | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows: |

| | | Sec. 1. 23 MRSA §1914, sub-§6, ¶A, as amended by PL 1995, c. 390, §1, | | is further amended to read: |
|
| | | A. Attempts or appears to attempt to direct the movement of | | traffic or interferes with, imitates or resembles any | | official traffic sign, signal or device; or |
|
| | | Sec. 2. 23 MRSA §1914, sub-§6, ¶B, as repealed and replaced by PL 1981, | | c. 318, §4, is amended to read: |
|
| | | B. Prevents the driver of a vehicle from having a clear and | | unobstructed view of official signs and approaching or | merging traffic; |
|
| | | Sec. 3. 23 MRSA §1914, sub-§6, ¶¶C to E, as amended by PL 1995, c. 390, | | §1, are repealed. |
|
| | | Sec. 4. 23 MRSA §1914, sub-§11, as enacted by PL 1995, c. 390, §3, is | | repealed. |
|
| | | This bill allows moving signs and removes the restrictions on | | changeable signs. |
