(5-50) Phil Page, of Nobleboro, on his retirement after almost forty-nine years in education. Mr. Page began his career at Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro, teaching social studies for eight years and coaching freshman and JV basketball, cross country and track. He built successful cross country and track teams there by recruiting basketball players to come out for track. Medomak won boys cross country KVAC titles in 1981 and 1983 and a Western Maine Class B championship in cross country. He moved to Lincoln Academy, his alma mater, in the early 1980s, running the boys JV basketball program for the 1983-1984 season. In 1984, he took over the varsity boys basketball program and joined the academy's faculty. During his eleven-year tenure as the boys varsity coach, he achieved a 127-79 record and led the program to its first and currently only state championship in 1989 with a 15-game winning streak. He also coached varsity baseball, JV softball and freshman and JV girls basketball. He taught United States history and geography for many years, as well as physical education. He has served as assistant athletic director and as a member of the wellness faculty and has been the Student of the Month advisor, LA Pride advisor and faculty shield competition advisor. Under Mr. Benson's leadership, the organization has played a vital role in connecting veterans and their families with meaningful employment opportunities, supporting their integration into local communities and strengthening the fabric of Maine's workforce. In Memory of: (5-54) Kyle Terrance Armstrong, of Pittston. Mr. Armstrong was a high school athlete and after school went on to coach youth football and Little League baseball, where he was able to make a lasting impact on those he mentored. He was employed as a salesman at F.W. Webb in Oakland. An avid fisherman, he was a co-founder of The Annual Cobbossee Ice Fishing Derby. In his honor, the derby is being renamed The Kyle Armstrong Memorial Cobbossee Ice Fishing Derby. Mr. Armstrong will be long remembered and sadly missed by his family, friends and community;

(5-55) Scott Marquis, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, formerly of Presque Isle. Mr. Marquis served many years as a volunteer firefighter and was a respected United States Customs and Border Protection officer in Aroostook County. He was known for his strong work ethic, his kindness and his service to others. Mr. Marquis will be long remembered and sadly missed by his family, friends and community;

(5-56) Lee C. Kimberling, of West Gardiner. Mr. Kimberling served in the United States Army for 8 1/2 years, including 2 tours of Vietnam, and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Togus Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 25 years. He was also a member and former President of the Barnstormers Snowmobile Club and a member of the West Gardiner Snowmobile Club and the American Legion. Mr. Kimberling will be long remembered and sadly missed by his wife, Cheryl, and his family, friends and community;

(5-57) Lynn Roberts Reed, of Winthrop. Mrs. Reed was a 6th-generation funeral director, working in the family business and eventually taking it over alongside her brother Leon. She served her community until her retirement in 2024. In recent years, she also worked at the Western Maine Center for Children in Carrabassett Valley. She was a member of the Towanda snowmobile group. Mrs. Reed will be long remembered and sadly missed by her family, friends and community;

(5-58) Robert Hanson Whear, of Damariscotta. Mr. Whear was an innkeeper of the Mill Pond Inn with his wife Sherry for over four decades. He also worked as a realtor, was a Registered Maine Guide and a member of the Great Salt Bay Sanitary District board and, for two decades, tended bar at the Damariscotta River Grill. He had a rock-and-roll radio show, was on local cable television programs "Wazzup" and "InnSannity" and wrote the "Gone Fishin" column for The Lincoln County News. Mr. Whear will be long remembered and sadly missed by his family, friends and community;
