Chapter 31: OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
§751. Obstructing government administration
A person is guilty of obstructing government administration if the person intentionally
interferes by force, violence or intimidation or by any physical act with a public
servant performing or purporting to perform an official function.

This section does not apply to:
A. Refusal by a person to submit to an arrest or detention; or [1997, c. 351, §2 (AMD).]
B. Escape by a person from official custody, as defined in section 755. [1975, c. 499, §1 (NEW).]
