This bill includes
General Fund appropriations totaling $330,400 in fiscal year 2024-25 to the
Inclusive Higher Education Grant Program within the Department of Education
established to support postsecondary educational opportunities for students
with intellectual disabilities or developmental disabilities or autism
spectrum disorder. Of this amount,
$100,000 is appropriated on a one-time basis to support the initial start-up
costs associated with implementing the grant program and $230,400 is
appropriated on an ongoing basis to support competitive grants to
institutions of higher education in the State to develop and implement
program plans that offer inclusive higher education. |
