|
The bill provides
that, upon the request of a landowner of land that is hydrogeologically down
gradient from a state-owned salt storage facility, the Department of
Transportation shall arrange for and pay the cost of testing the private
water supply for any contaminants. The cost of one private water supply test
is $400. No estimate of the number of landowners who may request such testing
has been made. |
